Placing an Order...

To place an order for delivery or pick up, send us an email or call 630-980-6619 between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm, Monday throught Saturday, or FAX your order to 630-980-6601

Placing an E Mail Order, As much as we try, placing a last minute order after 4:00 pm for breakfast the next morning may not actually be placed as fresh inventory and personnel may not be available on such short notice.

Please order as early as possible to reserve date and delivery time. If you have a change of plans, please allow 72 hours.

Please allow 4 days notice for buffet orders. Some packages available in less than 4 days.

PLEASE NOTE: Certain times of the season, May, June graduations, Christmas, we become fully booked. We have on several occasions cut off taking orders several days in advance of a date. This is to fully serve to the best of our ability those folks who placed their orders early. So the "place your order within 48 hours may not apply". Thanks..........

Your order is delivered 15 minutes to 1 hour minutes prior to your serving time. Food is delivered hot. (Italian beef cold, gravy hot, heats in a few minutes). We ask for your "SERVING TIME"

On Commercial accounts a signed signature is required on our Quote sheet prior to the delivery of an order.

Corporate breakfast orders cancelled after 4pm the previous day will be charged in full for their order.

On Home accounts a Visa, Mc, AE, Discover card is required to guarantee each order. Orders cancelled for any reason within 24 hours WILL be charged a fee of 20% of the order.

Deposits are required on larger orders such as Picnics, weddings.

Home Delivery, available on buffets of 20 or more. Delivery price includes set up. Delivery price determine on size of event and distance. It DOES NOT INCLUDE GRATUITY FOR THE DRIVERS.

Business Delivery, Available on any size (min 6) Delivery, Set up and p/u of equipment is included in delivery charges. Disposable equipment at our discretion.

Late Night delivery will incur a higher rate.

Closed Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter. ( Althought special circumstances may occur on those days predacating us to be open) Catering delivery limited on Holiday's and pre Holiday's and may incur a higher delivery and require a gratuity of 15%. Those days incurring a higher rate include: Christmas Eve, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, New Years Day.
Payment...

Payment is due in full prior to commencement of food service. Commercial Billing Available. Payments can be made in Cash, Check, Visa, MC, AE, Discover.

Checks that are NSF will incur a $35.00 bank charge and will be place on your charge card deposit number. If this number is not valid, Sporty's will use every legal means necessary to recoup losses at the customers expense.

Set Up...

Home Delivery involves setting up wire rack, chafers and various utinsels, baskets, plates etc. 90% of our customes opt to return this upgraded equipment to Sporty's by the following week CLEAN. We may be asked to pick up equipment at an additional charge. Disposable equipment is available at an additional expense.

A minimum of $35.00 will be assessed to all equipment that is returned dirty and will be applied to your deposit charge card number.

Lost or not returned equipment will be charged at full replacement cost.

Business Delivery set up costs include delivery & pick up. Disposable equipment at Sporty's discretion.

Sporty's assumes no risk inconjunction with the use of steamers and wire racks and sternos. Proper care should be taken in disposing of items that may be hot.
Certificates of Insurance
Cancellations...

Althought unavoidable, cancellations do occur. Please provide at least 3 days notice. Specialized orders such as picnics and weddings which incur a deposit may lose the deposit if canceled. Determination of refund will be made based on food and labor charges with said event. Cancelling the day of the event will incur an automatic 35% or greater charge.
Satisfaction.....

Your satisfaction is our goal. If a product is not to your liking please notify us immediately so that we may understand and rectify the problem. We will try to replace the product in a timely fashion so as not to disrupt you occasion. The product you are dissatisfied with MUST be returned or picked up by Sporty's to discern what the problem, if any, may have been. Unreturned items, or phone calls stating something was not liked but no product is available for Sporty's to test and review may result in Sporty's not being able to rectify the situation. As we try for 110% satisfaction, 1 in 10,000 (thankfully) may have comments about a product.
Wait Staff...

Available for any size any location. we set up our buffet, serve your guests, clean up after ourselves including refuse that may be created by disposable plates etc. We do not however tend partys that include "other" caterers food nor clean house.

There is a Three hour minimum for wait staff personnel and it is Sporty's discretion as to how many personnel are required based on food and number of guests. This EXCLUDES delivery to and from time. The cost is $23.50 per hour or fraction of, Station Chef / Carver / Head Personnel are based on $29.50 per hour. Gratuity will be added at a rate of 15% for parties of 50 or more. 18% parties less than 50.

Please ask for quote. "late" arrivals at weddings & picnics will incur additional wait staff charges and will be billed accordingly. Picnic are based on set up, 1 1/2 hour serving time, take down time. Additional time will be billed at above rates.

Sportys prepares it's food on a daily basis to insure freshness. We will do everything in our effort to set up food at your location (when outside / summer) with great care, ie iced potato salads etc. HOWEVER, if this is not conveyed to Sportys at the time of ordering we cannot assume responsibility for food being left out in unsanitary conditions.

Whether on picnics or at a home, clubhouse, GREAT care should be taken that refrigerated items including but not limited to , cold meats, subs, salads, dressings SHOULD NOT BE LEFT OUT FOR A GREAT LENGTH OF TIME. Sporty's assumes no risk if a person/persons get sick after eating prepared foods that have been left out for an extraordinary amount of time. An example of hot foods include: Serve at a party Italian Beef at 7:00 pm, heated with sternos, beef left out and sternos go out at 9:00 pm but the party continues and at 2:00 am a person makes a beef. A person may become ill due to bacteria growth if food is left out for a period of time. Common sense must prevail in all food awareness related items.
